| Good point! We lost our Post Office in Brentford a few years ago. Then the PO found a convenuence store to take on a Post Office franchise, so we now have a Post Office or at least the majority of their services. We have also lost bothe the banks we recently had in Chiswick. I have been banking with Nationwide for 20 years> I'm pleased there is still a branch in Chiswick, but frankly I have hardly ever visited the branch, and the last time (probably 10 years ago) I did it was to deposit a dollar cheque. They told me they did not offer that service any more. I finally had to use the Credit Union to deal with my cheque. |
