And yet traders on the High Road are failing. Cyclists aren’t buying in bulk.They can’t transport goods on their bikes. Bikes have very limited capacity for ‘goods’. High Roads need plenty of parking for cars. The cycle lanes prevent parking. It’s blatantly obvious. People are spending real money in Retail Parks or places like Richmond where there is plenty of parking. People are spending pocket money on High Roads like Chiswick. Nice if you only want a coffee and a slice of lemon drizzle cake. |
