We have continuous camera monitoring along C9. A year ago, on Monday 3 June, the total bike count on C9 was 3540, with 123 between 12 and 1, and a peak hourly count of 408 between 8 and 9. In 2023, on Monday 5 June the total count was 3135, with 109 from 12 to 1 and a peak hourly count of 359 between 8 and 9. That's a 13% annual growth in all bike counts. We don't have the bike counts for today yet, but happy to bet they'll be well over 3000 again, and possibly pushing 4000. For comparison, there's around 6000 to 7000 cars a day on the High Road. |
