Did a quick survey of the High Road: in very recent times we have the new Hound pub, the Malis restaurant, the Lavent Borek eatery, Wren kitchens and the upcoming expansion of M&S. Not forgetting the new health centre (if not quite on the High Road).

Is it fairer to say - as with the nation as a whole and, arguably, as with global civilisation more broadly - the High Road is in a state of flux?

If peoples' concerns about the absence of bank facilities has legitimacy, do you suppose a one-size-fits all banking facility may appear soon (possibly similar to the Banking Hub in Acton)?
