| Ealing Council are to be commended for their prompt action to deal with a dangerous tree. A large branch fell off this horse chestnut in May. I can only assume that a subsequent proper assessment of the tree led Ealing to conclude that the risk of further falling branches , or even the tree itself was significant, and to conclude that felling/pollarding was the proper approach to prevent possible danger to people and vehicles. I only wish that Hounslow took as good and prompt care of the trees. |
