This brings me back to my post a few weeks back about the felling of the lovely avenue of Chestnut trees in Hartington Rd. The Council must replace any lost trees with Chestnuts and not the paltry flowering Cherry Trees. Especially from the A316 junction back to the Cavendish Road mini roundabout where there are sports grounds each side of the road but ideally all along Hartington Rd and throughout Grove Park. Local Councillors and The Grove Park Group get onto the lords at Lampton HQ to get a firm commitment please. |
