| Fair point Paul except that most of the back office staff actually seem to be in India now wherever the front office activity happens. ;) I agree it is a not a workable tax. There are lots of reasons why. One very obvious one from a macro level is that money doesn't come from thin air. This tax would simply be a raid on the profits of the institutions involved so why not increase corporation tax and be done with it. |
