Most sensible education-loving Brits support students. They also support our old universities: Particularly Oxbridge and the Russell Group. These are still, just about, world class. But dropping fast in the global league table. That's because they're cash-starved. Quite simply, they need millions and millions more money to maintain their academic standards. We need them to keep up. The students need our universities to be rich. Offering courses that compete with the best. Particularly in the Ivy League, but increasingly all over the globe.. Square that one Stew.. Go on.. |
