| It is a pity that the fools who have decided to inflict attack Millbank Tower have diverted media coverage away from the huge demonstration reflecting concern, particularly among the country's youth, at the potentially damaging effects of the government's plan to massively increase the costs of higher education to future generations. As one of the past generations who has benefitted financially from receiving a free higher education I believe it is grossly unfair that today's youth will have to pay for a previously free education and will not benefit in future from the same generous secure employment and index-linked pensions that their elders have obtained. |
