| Patrick, I agree pretty much with everything you say particularly about Indian Zing. The only difference would be that I can't believe Lola and Simon will be better than Annie's but that is only because I've never been there. I will rectify that soon given your recommendation. However, none of the places you suggest are anywhere near the main retail area of Hammersmith and most of them are a few hundred yards from W4. The chances are that most of their customers are from Chiswick. Once you get to the top end of King Street and go either up the Shepherd's Bush Road, Fulham Palace Road or Hammersmith Road it is a wasteland with most of the option to eat involving some variety of fried chicken. I'm slightly biased against this area because the last two times I've ventured down there we were set upon by a drunk/druggie who verbally abused us for no apparent reason. |
