| I hear the Gate is good from my vegetarian friends and they have dragged me along to Sagar which is excellent. However, generally speaking good restaurants don't survive in Hammersmith. Chez Kristof and Snows on the Green closed down which were the only ones that got anywhere near the quality of a dozen places in Chiswick. The Thai on King Street is way inferior to several of the ones on CHR. Most restaurants serve cheap but not particularly good food for aimed at students and people wanting a quick bite to eat after the Apollo. Can't think of anywhere in the area that you would travel to specially to eat at except possibly the Anglesea Arms. |
