I just noticed a planning application outside this building and called the council.  It seems that the Shepherds Bush Housing association are hoping to create 26 bedsits for single young men at risk.  At the moment the building is very run down so as a neighbour, I would be happy to see improvements however, I am quite concerned about the use.  I can't help but feel concerned that this could create a gathering place for large groups of young men and it makes me feel uneasy.  My children regularly use the E3 bus which stops outside St Margaret's and the recent subway assault has given me enough cause worry.  I intend to write to the council with my concerns and just wondered if anyone else feels the same.
