"Mr Greenhough, is your 'quack quack' comment a defence of the Wikipedia entry or merely a reflection of your own insecurities?" Originally it was a response to Sir Robin's habit of posting "Yawn" in threads where he had lost the argument. Nowadays it is a response to his more quackers postings. Sir Robin's constant attempt to bring race into the debates on this forum indicates his racist attitudes. Whatever people thought of Enoch Powell at the time, the 1970 election was forty years ago and Sir Robin's attempt to rake over old battles for his sordid political ends is more likely to undo the progress made in that time than to help 21st century race relations in this country. And before Sir Robin takes up the cudgels on behalf of the late Ted Heath, he might do well to read Philip Ziegler's new biography of him. Or is he another historian that isn't acceptable to Toff-Labour's closed mind because he holds views that disgree with his version of history ? By the way, Manria, do you agree with Sir Robin that those displaying the national flag of England are xenophobes ? |
