I find it more than a little perturbing. Robin starts a perfectly legitimate debate about what he sees as the biased coverage given to Mr Powell in Wikipedia, yet it seems rather than debate the merits of what he says some of you just offer personal insults. Mr Greenhough, is your 'quack quack' comment a defence of the Wikipedia entry or merely a reflection of your own insecurities? As a British woman of Indian origin, it worries me if there are still people who hold Mr Powell in high esteem. I have seen the documentary footage of people on the National Front marches holding the placards that say 'Enoch is right', how is someone like me supposed to relate to this, and then to end by calling Robin a acist for flagging this issue up.. he did not even do so in a politically partisan way as you might eexpect, but tried to defend the integrity of Mr Heath as Tory PM |
