| I’ve read it, and it’s interesting that retailers actually underestimated the actual growth in sales from closing the bridge. The bottom line is that a reduction in through traffic seems to have benefitted local retail. Clearly the loss in customers from further afield was more than compensated by the increase in local customers. |
