First, your assertion that each and every election campaign is followed by the winning party dropping every manifesto promise is patently wrong. They do only partially deliver. They do squirm out of specifics. But their campaigning platform does largely inform their subsequent policies. Unlike the Brexit campaign. However the more interesting aspect here is the response of the Brexit supporters in the face of noting the blatant lies of the referendum campaign. Like you. The Brexit supporters somehow apply a mental bypass to these lies. Can I ask; was that bypass surgically applied? |
