You really don't like this country, do you ? You seem to take a perverse delight in running it down at every opportunity.

Anyway, what on earth does the state of the German economy have to do with AM being able to "afford" far better coalition partners ? The fact is that she has been unable to put together a coalition of any sort that can command a majority and either has to try to run a minority government or call for another election. Ergo the situation there is less stable than the one here. Now, can you get your head round that simple fact without banging on about Brexit again, which actually wasn't what this thread was about until you brought it up ?
