| You might be waiting a while longer; I see spreadsheet Phil has just revised our growth estimates down for 2017/18 to 1.5% and 1.4% respectively. That's quite an achievement for a small open economy like UK to be slashing growth forecasts when the global economy is enjoying the most synchronised recovery since 2007 and our biggest trading partner is seeing it's best growth in a decade. I wonder what on earth could have caused it? And whether what has caused it could have been predicted in any small way? |
