Yes, a strange OP. The theme seems to be gloating (that favourite pastime of the cerebrally constrained) about the challenges facing Merkel in shaping a government. Thus simply demonstrating a dislike of Germany and/or coalition politics. But at the same time acknowledging the current performance of the UK government under May - weak and wobbly. This is emphasised by the notion that Merkel might contact May on advice about being weak and wobbly. Plus ignoring that the coalition with the DUP is all that keeps May in power. I imagine it was the realisation of this inadvertent criticism of the current government that led to a sudden desire to switch topics to the labour party. Oh well, anything to distract us from the car crash that is the Brexit progress. |
