Hi, Just hoping to get some quick (and cheap!) legal advice. In brief we received a quote from our vet (not based in Chiswick) for some recommended dental work and blood tests on our two cats back in January. It was quite a lot, but we thought we would go for it. Admittedly it has taken nine months to finally book them in, but when we came to pick up the cats the bill had more than doubled from the already expensive quote. Apparently once in, and under sedation, they decided far more work needed doing than was originally quoted, but non of this was communicated to us until afterwards! Can they do this, or should we only be paying the amount quoted? Any help and/or advice greatly received. |
