'Reasonably high spec' Kitchen £20k - 30k. Bathrooms £3-5k each. Lights etc £2k. The building cost will vary...I've seen cheap and more expensive (look at the bricks and tiles others have used, you can see the difference)...the main building costs depend on how fixed your plans are. Full width doors or open plan layout mean less upright supports / more hidden beams / more cost. I've never renovated a whole house, but a terraced loft extension cost me £50k 10 years ago, so err on the side of caution with costs? |
