Andy I understand what you are saying but what can you do apart from the government imposing a heavy non get out TAX on any gains made on a property that is sold under a year on issue of the building certificate. I talked with my neighbours at length before we started work, that was really out of necessity though due to the party wall agreements/awards (a con if you ask me), ultimately you give your neighbours the impression they have a choice in what you do and some will think they can dictate things. As it is I get on well with my neighbours but there were a few instances that tested my patience especially as I know both intend to sell up in the next couple of years having made a packet. |
