If that work is carried out overnight, you can kiss goodbye to any sleep.The noise these machines make is horrendous.They literally rip the surface off the road, and the incessant beep beep when the lorries and rollers are reversing will drive you mad.It was bad enough when they did our road a couple of weeks ago, and that was done during the day.The people in charge of this sporadic road carnage should be made to explain their thinking behind this mish mash
