You are not alone.  One block of Rupert Road has been blocked off since before Easter.  While the resurfacing work was taking place they discovered subsidence.  The team reappeared for a couple of days and has since disappeared again.  No doubt there is a major problem, but the arrogance is that no department is prepared to notify the residents as to the exact nature of the problem and what has to be done to remedy it.  For this Hounslow signed a 25 year PFI.
