The Argentine may be antiquated in military terms, but if the press is to be believed they are currently re-arming their air force with modern Russian bombers and fighters from Israel.Considering the state of their economy, not the sort of thing they would be spending their money on if they had no use for them.Then there is the question of the oil.If there is the quantity of oil that has been estimated around the Falklands, it could certainly ease Argentines financial problems |
