Lord (and quite a few people on here) knows that I am no fan of Farage and his ilk, but in this instance I disagree. The Falklands are under the protection of the UK because the population there have stated repeatedly, and overwhelmingly that they wish it to be so. Of 1,517 votes cast in the two-day referendum - on a turnout of more than 90% - 1,513 were in favour, while just three votes were against. |
