Absolutely. Measles is not Chicken Pox, and is serious at any age, the fatality in the recent outbreak in Wales was a young man in his late teens, so not just serious for small children. The disease has a mortality rate of one in a thousand and side effects include partial (or complete) deafness and partial (or complete) loss of sight. I cannot stress this enough GET YOUR KIDS VACCINATED. |
