Paul, why do you think I am obsessing about it? I have posted this one article. The problem with you dog lovers is that the moment anyone says anything that might curb the freedom of our canine friends, you immediately jump to such ridiculously emotional overstatements. It really is impossible to have a sensible discussion with any of you. DNA registration is working in the US. The evidence is there. Felicity, you can't just dismiss it a a "pissed off hack with nothing better to do". How on earth do you come to such a silly conclusion? You just don't want to hear the truth. The case for DNA registration is black and white logic, combined with common sense. And if we were talking about anything other than doggies you would be agreeing with me. The 50,000 tons of dog crap (and growing) that gets left on our streets and in our parks is one of the most common causes of complaint to our local councils. Most sensible people know that something has to be done about it. But you dog lovers think it's a crime against canine freedom to even suggest such an evil idea. You just start frothing at the mouth at the very idea. It's just simple common sense. And it will happen. A growing number of councils are exploring the idea. If Ed Mayne can outlaw spitting in our streets (that's not a joke), then our councils can implement DNA registration. And the sooner the better. |
