The original post reads very much like a press release and therefore its claims should be taken with a huge pinch of salt. As far as I am aware, even in the States, private companies aren't allowed to introduce new regulations. DNA registration would be hugely expensive to administer and would achieve very little as the people who let their dogs foul the pavements are the very people who won't register. The introduction would just become a tax on responsible dog ownership with all the revenue raised going to a private company. |
