We are four individual apartments, with no communal bins, and a secluded outside area not visible from the road to store bins, so providing the proper number of bins would have no impact on the streetscene except on collection day. If we had to share a single wheelie bin (which as RB suggests are small-ish, and certainly not designed to be shared by four households) then what happens if we come to put our rubbish out and the neighbours have already filled the bin ? It is not my job to audit my neighbour's recyling, but as one has an infant of an age to produce filled nappies, I imagine that takes up quite a lot of their black-bag rubbish disposal. |
