"CHRAG felt that the application attempted to hide the "unimaginative" Essex place development of high rise blocks that would take away valuable amenity space, desperately needed locally, which would be even more necessary if the Empire House conversion to residential took place, even in modified form." What 'valuable amenity space'? It's a car park on a service road, not Kew Gardens. Perspective here, please. OTOH, to be fair here, I'd like to see proper visualations of a ground level view of the site from key points around Turnham Green, not just face on. I suspect a view looking north from Heathfield Road might be quite eye-opening. |
