Louise, I think I made it clear that although at the time my dog was registered with Petcare, it was their emergency cover I had problems with.Peter Olson while he was there was absolutely fantastic. He would often waive charges for pets of people on benefits and he used to help out with animals that had been taken into the Mayhew home.Since Peter sold up, I have only been to Petcare in Goldhawk road a couple of times, my last being for some tranquillisers to calm the dog on firework night. On the 4th, they refused and pointed me towards an absolutely useless plug in jobby. When I went in on the 5th, the vet that I spoke to was fine and gave me enough tablets for 2 days which worked a treat.I just wish I could have had them on the 4th without wasting a fair amount of money on a complete waste of time. When I mentioned the plug in was a waste of time and money, she told me they hadn't tried them, it was just the advertising blurb they were passing on.Bad move in my opinion. The inoculations I have done at the Mayhew.I am a home visitor for them, and I always take my Collie with me when I do the visits, so that is as much for convenience as anything else. |
