Thank you for the additional information Cllr Todd. I was wondering what scope of works is being considered for the station by the working party you refer to. While there are undoubtedly improvements that could made to the existing station configuration, I can't help but think that there will always be a capacity issue with just a single platform at Gunnersbury. Is the re-instatement of a platform being considered, even as a long term objective? As I mentioned in a previous post, use of Gunnersbury will only increase with the development of the area and the proposed link to Crossrail/HS2 at Old Oak Common. The sort of improvements being considered may only be stop-gaps and an additional platform the only long term solution. |
