She is doing what she can and it is an uphill battle not to mention a thankless task but it is Hounslow and TFL who have to be beasted into spending the necessary money (and fast) to redevelop the whole of this poorly designed station to accommodate the many more people who will be using it once all the redevelopments in the pipeline have been built.  What it needs really is for the ticket office to be built out over the top of the railway lines with 2 lots of stairs going down to the platforms.  A lift could also be accommodated in that building for disabled/elderly/pushchairs, etc.  There would be the dual use of also giving passengers shelter in bad weather. A lot of money has been spent on Putney mainline station and what a difference that is making but I don't remember seeing any lifts for those who need them - the work is not yet finished so it could be that they are yet to be unveiled.
