"the ultimate solution would be to replace a car park with another platform as Gunnersbury used to have platforms where the car parks are now anyway" Yes, I'd go along with that - remove the western car park and replace with a new north-south walking (and cycling) route and a new entrance hall, bridge and northbound platform. Far more people arrive at work in the area via the station than via the car parks after all, and with space constrained it's time to start using it more efficiently. |
