"I was wondering why there was a reference to National Rail in the press release. Are they still involved with Gunnersbury?" Yes, they are. They own the station (which is managed by London Underground) and they own and maintain the track, signalling and electrical power. On the District Line's Richmond branch, the boundary between LU and Network Rail is just west of the Acton Lane bridge.
