To be honest, in the long run I think Scotland would probably be better off adopting its own currency under the positive money premise. That may be a little too hopeful though. For me, a system where banks create 97% of our money out of thin air and then charge us interest on it is a bit scary. Boom, bust, speculation, bubble.
