For the past three days, there have been parking suspensions outside twelve of the houses at the school end of Duke Road, with the signs quoting "water works" During this period , there has been no sign of anybody working or even starting work. This has resulted in residents having to seek new parking places in an already congested area, and left looking out onto a deserted road outside their home. Two questions arise from this: (1) Why do L.B.H. allow this to happen, is it purely more profit for them? (2) Has Thames Water got so much money, they can afford to write these things off? |
