Guy, the tunnel to the eastbound platform at Kew Bridge is definitely in use during Brentford games as fans are pointed in different directions depending on which platform and even if you haven't been to the game, you need to use the tunnel for the eastbound platform  - they don't allow access over the footbridge at the front.

I don't know what times the tunnel opens and closes and why it isn't available other than during games.
