That’s why they come here and don’t claim asylum in any of the many EU countries they traverse to get here. When they finally get to Calais and are interviewed by our media they are brazen about their God Given right to come to the UK to claim asylum and settle and most have friends or family here who have explained the wonderful benefits and accommodation and opportunities here. Why do you think they don’t stay in Greece or Spain or Portugal or France or any of the countries they have passed through? And why do you think they destroy their ID documents before they arrive here? It’s to buck the system. |
