| Money recovered from benefits fraud wouldn't touch the sides of the black hole. You keep on banging on about the NHS, that no amount of money will fix it, and reform is the only solution. So if you solve that problem, what about social care, the courts, the probation service, education and all the other broken public services? Remove the state from as much as possible? Leave the indigent to destitution? Bring back the workhouse? "It is a well-rehearsed fact lower taxes generate more money not less" It's a nostrum much favoured by the rich and thoroughly discredited by serious economists. Tell me where the crossover point is on the Laffer curve. Your politics are those of the selfish rich. |
