| My car is designed to do this but the lights switch on well before they are actually needed. Light sensor technology is clever but not perfect. The issue with Chiswick Park is the shadow cast over the platform and the tracks so the times when lights are not needed may not justify the cost of new equipment. If they have installed LEDs already then the cost saving would be even less. |
