| Safety for the public as opposed to cost savings should be a priority. Light reduction creating an unsafe environment in a public space is wrong and invites “wrong uns” to try and take advantage. Any person alone on a platform late at night needs reasonable access to a safety button without having to run to the ticket office in desperation. Dimming lights in parks and all public stations should not be allowed just for environmental reasons. |
