| As I tried to explain to you, this is done for safety reasons and is a practice that is not confined to TfL or even the UK. There is a trade off between safety and cost and it isn't practical to switch the lights on and off according to the weather. If you believe the balance should be on the side of saving money, you can't justifiably whine about it while making no attempt to effect change. If your point of view had any validity then you would be adding to similar calls from others. However, given your previously expressed intemperate dislike of the Mayor, I would anticipate that if he did start switching off lights at stations you would immediately be jumping up and down about the risk to passengers. For you, any stick to beat him with will do. |
