| Leaving on platform lights is not a practice unique to Chiswick Park or even London's transport network. Much of the platform is in shade and therefore, even during the day visibility can be poor not just for anyone with impaired vision. The lights also mean that the CCTV monitoring is more effective which you would be grateful for if you were the victim of a crime or a vulnerable person travelling alone at a less busy time. What did TfL say to you when you raised this issue with them? |
