| I have been listening to all the furore about voters having to produce. ID at polling stations in common with the rest of the world. It seems that those most affected may be the elderly but to me ultimately it seems sensible to have some form of checking process. But in all the outrage I reflected on the absurd waves online consultations launched/inflicted by Hounslow and other Councils affecting crucial aspects of daily life with which many elderly people struggled even more. Come to think of it most of us did. Far less democratic and more discriminatory and subject to widespread gaming. But that wouldnt suit the narrative. |
