I really can't see the problem with having to produce ID to vote. Most older people will have drivers licences or bus passes and younger people will have passports. In rare cases when people don't have any form of ID they can apply for a free voter ID document, known as a Voter Authority Certificate. It really is no big deal and it is quite pathetic that some MP's want to waste parliamentary time to debate the issue yet again. Get over it - get an ID. Likewise, I can't understand why it is such an issue to get the Parking Apps. They are BRILLIANT. You don't have to worry about cash or credit cards or standing in the rain at the paypoint behind some old crony struggling to figure out how the machine works! You do everything from the comfort of your car. It's called progress!! |
