| That's not the point He is popular with the membership, he is liked by not all but many in the back benches and he is liked up and down the country. And that is regardless of his past and what the other half of the country thinks. It is likely they don't like Starmer but may vote Labour ITV sent someone to Bolton, the most marginal of Tory-won red wall seats to ask people on the streets what they think over trust resignation. The overwhelming and I repeat overwhelming majority said they wanted Boris back over any other alternative. That is again the point, many are not interested in what you are saying. Many never wanted him gone, only those who thought at the time the jobs are in real danger of losing those big gains If he is in the last 2 I think he wins in my book |
