Seems the below pics indicated another deviation from the cycleway consultation plan as published. The raised red pavement is the actual crosswalk. So why the four additional depressed curbs (all of which are gray concrete) two on each side of the intersection of Chiswick Lane and the High Road? Also new is the so-called corduroy paving which is also yellow but ribbed not dotted. Seems to me these will be used by cyclists to make the turn to and from Chiswick Lane. So pedal 
up on the sidewalk, across the pavement — at an intersection no less — then back down into the cycleway. And the corduroy seems to be the alert much like other textured pavement is. No doubt Michael et al can elucidate.
