Per your example, Francis, it does seem odd the very practice you outline when turning is in place for all crossings, e.g., Homefields just before Chiswick Lane, yet somehow it goes belly up at the other end of the same block.

Why wouldn't cyclists turn down Netheravon, Airedale or Homefield to connect with Chiswick Lane via Beverley? It's a quieter way, is it not?
